Crawling, creeping........ EVERYWHERE!

So Henry is officially anywhere he wants to be now. Which typically means were he shouldn't be.
But he has so much fun. He pulls up on everything he can and wants to walk so bad. Something tells me it won't be long! He also loves loves loves to watch Curious George. It's really cute. He is such a joy.
On the new baby front, I am now 13 weeks and passing safely into the second trimester. Thats makes me feel so much better literally and mentally! My belly is growing by leaps and bounds. I now have a little bump again. It seems I didn't get to not have one for very long:) I think this baby is starting to feel more like a reality. We really have put it on the "back burner" so to speak. We are just so busy. It really doesn't feel very real. But everyday it gets more and more real that in not too long of a time we will be a family or FOUR!! which is weird and have two babies under two. Kinda scary at times very exciting no matter what.

24 Hours Away...

So last Friday, we took a small trip to Buckhorn Lake state park in Eastern Kentucky. I'm talken eastern eastern Kentucky, almost to Virginia. It was beautiful. It was also our first 24 hours away from Henry since he's been born. It was hard at first but I knew he was in good hands(my mom) and we really enjoyed the time we got to spend together! We had dinner at the resort on Friday night. Then on Saturday morning we went on a Elk tour, didn't see any elk but had fun all the same. And the we went back to the lake to fish a little and then made our way home through the beautiful mountains. This was the view from our room. It really doesn't even do it justice. And that fish picture is my beautiful largemouth bass the I caught. The lake was beautiful! It was crystal clear. As you were fishing you could see your lure all the way through the water. When I caught this one I actually could see the fish swim up and hit the spinner. It was great!



Here is sweet little Henry who is now crawling full out!!! He looks like a little robot because even though he crawls he isn't very coordinated yet, it's so funny. A whole new world for me now that he is mobile. He gets into EVERYTHING!! I can't not watch him for a second. So much for the days of just laying him in one spot while I shower or get stuff done. Ahhh, the good old days!:) No really, I love this new stage. Lots of exploring and leaning!














This is so funny. He really wanted to try a piece of pineapple. I thought he would like it because he eats pineapple mixed with pear baby food. No Way! look at that face. He thought it was so gross!! And then when I ate it again I could tell how sour it must taste to him! No fresh pineapple anytime soon. *you can see his TWO little teeth in the bottom of his mouth*

The "Don't mess with me" face!

This picture is sooo funny! It's his "I'm too busy to take pictures mom" face. It is hilarious!















This is a new face he has been making also. He has so many funny faces these days. I swear he has more expressions than I thought a baby could have. He is adorable!!

Well lets see, I had a Dr. appointment today and everything is great!! We actually got to hear the heart beat this time and I didn't even realize it until we got to the Dr. Things are going by so fast this time, no doubt because I have a little one to run around after and not as much time to obsess on the fact that I'm pregnant! The Doppler picked up the heartbeat really fast, which suppirsed the dr. since I'm 11 weeks, she thought it might be harder to find. And it was a strong 155 beats! I cried, I always cry. But it's so good to know all is well in there and my little peanut if growing good. :)
I guess thats all for now, I will start taking pregnancy pictures soon. I just have to find time:)
Oh yes, and that is really surprising, how much faster you show after your first. I have already begun to show! And I haven't really gained weight, Dr. said it's just everything stretches out faster once it's been stretched already.
Also, wanted to let everyone know, esp. family, that I changed the settings on my comment area so anyone can leave a comment, even if you don't have a blog!
It's bedtime for someone very sleepy so off to bed we go......

Crawling... almost!

He's such a cutie!! He manages to scoot himself around the house, even though he is still not crawling.

So things are good. Henry has almost mastered crawling. He has mastered getting into a sitting position from laying down. That is a big deal for those of you who don't have a baby. A very big deal. Such a big deal, in fact, that he likes to practice in bed at night when he should be sleeping! I think he gets himself up and then because he was asleep and it's dark he won't put himself back so then he cries. I hope this stage pases quick!:)
I am feeling a little better. Another week and a half and I will be in the second trimester! Thank goodness. And hopefully all those food aversions will be gone. I am already starting to show now. Wow I heard sometimes you do after your first so I guess this time it's right. My poor body:)
I started this mothers Bible study this morning at church and really really loved it. Probably more than I even thought I would. I'm looking forward to getting involved with other mothers that really want to raise their kids to be God honoring people. So this is a great step!! Well that's about it for now. :) Back to laundry!

Cute little boy!

Things have been fun. I am still feeling a little bla, but we have had fun. Here are some pictures we took pretty recently. Henry really wants to crawl, but I think he is just too heavy, he can't quite figure it out yet. Oh, and he really loves water bottles! He could play with them for hours I think;)
Oh yes, I would also like to go on record as saying Kyle and I both have already decided that we think this next one is a girl. We have both had baby girl dreams and I just have a feeling. Not that we wouldn't like Henry to have a little brother to play with but we don't think that's gonna happen. Now only ten weeks till we find out! haha a long time.
