Merry Christmas one more time....

OK, so I just received some more of my Christmas pics. Sadly after Christmas morning I didn't have time or energy to take any more pictures and we had a lot more of the day left. So I just have to wait for some to get sent to me. After my dad and brothers left we went to Kyle's parents for some brunch and early supper. You guessed it, no pictures from that one. But then to wrap up such a great day we went to my mom's and enjoyed a later dinner (yes, we eat all day!) and a chance to wind down and enjoy ourselves before heading home to drop into bed. It was so nice! Here is my mom and brothers, Billy and Matthew. My mom and I, how sweet!

And this one is so cute. Henry got his first Red Ryder tricycle. Actually it's the very first step, so it's just a little push bike. No peddles, really really cute. He thought that the tassels on the bars were really fun along with the bell. Look how happy he looks:)
So here is to a wonderful Christmas. Next year will no doubt be even better with another little one to celebrate with, although someone is going to have to take Christmas Eve because I don't know if we can be that busy again with two babies LoL Love you all!!

Sock boy....

This is so funny. Henry loves playing with his baby socks. Don't know why, he just does. The last couple of days he has started to put them in his mouth and walk and crawl around with them. It's so funny. He will keep it in his mouth for a long time. All throughout the day I will see him and he will have one in his mouth. What a silly guy!!

Merry Christmas!

Well time sure flies when it is the Christmas season. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. We did. Super super busy but a wonderful time. And so exciting it being Henry's first. Not that he really understood anything, but he was a cutie anyway. This may be a little long because I have a lot of time to cover. :) But it sure is extensive!!

We will begin with Christmas morning. My dad and brothers came over at seven fifteen. Sounds early but when Henry's gets up at 6:45 that not early at all:) My dad fixes breakfast every year so he came to us this time since we have the baby. It was so nice to be home for our first Christmas morning together. As you can see in the following pictures Henry really enjoyed opening his gifts and playing with them. In these pics Henry is playing with a basketball toy that my dad (pap) got him. He really enjoyed putting the balls through the hoop again and again and again.

Here is a couple of Henry opening his gifts. I really can't believe he took the time to actually help me open them. The night before he wanted nothing to do with sitting still and pulling open a gift. I chalk it up to being morning and well rested!

Doesn't he look so happy with his little Trinity hoody:) He two uncles got it for him. I think they are trying to hint at something! lol I told them he can be a shamrock if they save up and pay for his tuition!

Here he is enjoying my glass of OJ, he always wants when isn't his :)

Giving momma Christmas morning kisses, what a sweet guy!

OK now on the Alabama, which actually happened last week. Here is what Henry did a lot of the time. He was such a trooper on the eight hour ride. Really much better than I ever hoped for. This picture was actually taken on the way home. We left at the same time my brothers and dad left so part of the way Billy rode with us to keep Henry company in the back. They slept together and watched Shriek one on Billy's DVD player.

Doing what Henry does best...... making a mess!

Henry had sooo much fun down there. There was always someone to play with him. Here he is sitting on his cousin Kaleb. (well my cousin, his second maybe... I don't know that all confuses me) I think that when we got home he was actually very lonely having only me to play with.

He spend a lot of time playing with his other cousin (Mine really, same thing) Erin. She is five and just loved him to pieces. He just adored her. Here she is coloring with him. I think this is so sweet because it takes a lot of patience to color with a one year old that doesn't really even know how to color. She did it for a long time too. Erin already has the patience of a mama at five. So sweet!

And we also took him to see Santa while we were down there. He didn't cry or anything. I think he was just a little unsure of who his red and white bearded man was. Since we had been around so many family that week Kyle said he was probably like " Oh don't tell me I'm related to you too!", as you can see as long as he could see us he was just fine.

And yet more pictures of Henry playing with his favorite little Erin.

Here is a picture of my mom and her husband Larry. I thought I would add it because it's really a great shot. It's actually a Thanksgiving pic.

And this is Kyle's family. It was actually their Christmas card.
Well I think that about wraps it up. Lily is doing great as far as I know. Moving around like crazy. I feel good just getting big again so soon is a little hard. Especially with a toddler to chase around. So off I go to plan a birthday party. Wow having him right after Christmas sure made my holiday season even more busy. Hard to believe!

We have a walker!

Yep, he is really a little walker now! He still falls and trips a lot. But when he can be he is up and walking the best he can. It's so funny. It reminds us of when he started crawling. He kinda crawled like a little drunk guy. You know really uncoordinated and wobbly, like a robot. lol So now that is how he walks. But everyday he is getting better and better. How fast they change!!!!

Big Changes.....

Yay for almost being one year old!!!! We have started to switch over to whole milk and I am loving it. So is Henry because it taste sooo much better than formula. (and a WHOLE lot cheaper!!) He is also eating lots of table food which is also nice. He has also began to start soothing himself to sleep at night when he wakes up. That is huge since lately I've been convinced that will never happen. I hope it continues. We also just turned his car seat to face forward. That was a really really big deal too. It's a while new world for Henry. Plus, he was so big and frustrated facing the seat. Now he has a whole new perspective on the world around him.
I am now 23 weeks pregnant and feeling OK. Had my Dr. app yesterday and all is well. My belly muscles are so sore all the time and my back feels like it may fall off my body. It is a lot worse than with Henry. Dr. Nett said that it was completely normal and that because my pregnancy's are so close together my muscles didn't have time to strengthen back before being stretched again. So basically it isn't going away and it will probably get worse in the next three and a half months. So that isn't very fun but little Lily seems to be doing great in there and that's the most important thing! We are leaving to visit family in Alabama next week. The last time we made that drive Henry was five months old, so pretty easy travel age. This time should prove to be much more challenging. Hopefully all will go well though. I can't wait to see everyone. I miss my family down there so much!! It's so nice when we get a chance to see everyone and for Henry to see them as well. Can't wait!!!! Well here more pics. Hope everyone is doing great even if it is never going to stop raining!!

The name game....again

So I should have known not to open my mouth about the name. Why you ask? Yep, that's right we changed it back to Lily Grace. ;-) I know I know Gracie Mae was cute too but we went back and forth so much and have decided that we both really liked Lily Grace better. So now it is Lily Grace Armour. I'm sure no one will believe us now until she is born and it is on her birth certificate. :) Maybe that's why some people don't tell until then anyway. Just had to update everyone. Hope all is well and having a great week!!

The name game

Well after much deliberating, we have finally named our sweet little girl!! Earlier today we were playing the "name game" again, like we often do. As much as we liked Lily Grace, we just couldn't make up our mind. So we were playing with other names that we really like and came back to Gracie, one that we have like forever. And then Kyle said " I really like Gracie Mae.." Well we both agreed it was a great name. Then I had continued to think about it all night. I couldn't get the name out of my head, just like with Henry James. So while we were sitting on the couch I said " I really like Gracie Mae Kyle" and then he said it a few times and then said "Well, do you want to make it official?" And then I said "Did we just name our little girl?" We kissed and hugged and so it is. Gracie Mae Armour is the newest addition to the Armour family. We can't wait to meet her!!:)
