One month!!

One month already. How babies grow. Lily had her one month check up yesterday. She is 10lbs 14oz almost 11lbs. She has gained three pounds since she came home. what a little chunk. And the funny part is she isn't any longer. :) still20 1/2 inches. Her weight is in the 90% and her length is in the 40%. She is short and chubby:) Her head measured in the 50th % so she is right in the middle. I took both babies with me yesterday and Henry was sooo good. We were in the Dr. office for over and hour and he just sat in the stroller eating goldfish. He really loves goldfish.

Lily got her first of many shots, it was so sad. She really jumped when they poked her and then held her breath what seemed like acouple minutes before letting out an awful cry. She is very dramatic. I'm just getting used to this. Henry wasn't like this at all.

Her sleep is getting better. This week two nights she only woke up once in the middle of the night, last night twice, but she is getting better. Here is my sweet little lady.... she looks really board doesn't she?

Wonderful days....

I feel like so much happens I can't blog enough to keep up with it all. Today I went to the grocery ALL BY MYSELF!!! (yes, with the two babies) and it really went well. Henry was good (he's always good) and I wore Lily in a front carrier and she slept the whole time. I'm very proud. I seriously never thought I'd go to the grocery alone again. But we did. I am loving this warm weather. Even though my body isn't ready I sure am:)You know I just love Henry sooo much. I'm having one of those days where I just wish he would take a break growing up and I could keep him this age for a while. I just adore every aspect of who he is. We have so much fun together. I pray that he grows up knowing that. He started these swimming lessons this week. They aren't normal swim lessons they are with Infant swim resource, and they are basically "drawn proofing" lessons. I really think it has caused Henry and I to bond even more which is weird because they are tough lessons. They are only 10 min because they are so intense and he cries through them the whole time. But he is doing so good and it's my job to encourage him and tell him how good he is doing. And when it is over and he is laying by the pool to "recover" I lay down with him and cuddle him in a towel and tell him how proud I am of him. And I really think he understands. Then, after the lesson, he immediately stops crying and he is soo happy and talkative. I really think he is proud of himself too. It's really great. Here are some pictures from the week. Hope you enjoy as much as I do.
I have no idea why that is underlined but hey, I can't fix it and I am not retyping it, so oh well:) You know I have to take bunches of pictures with every cute outfit she has, right?! So here are some in her purple cutness.

Sweet little hands, she is watching them;)

and feet, cute little face too!

This I think is sooo funny. Kyle was cleaning the kitchen last night while I was settling Henry down for bed. He was in charge of Lily and she was putting up quite a protest of anything and everything, she just wasn't happy. Well next thing I know Kyle has the from carrier on and is cleaning the kitchen "wearing" Lily. She went to sleep in .1 seconds. LOL I just think it's so cute. Leave it to the man to be the problem solver. That's what they do best.

Cute pink polka dot outfit.

Lily's first real bath. She really didn't fuss as much as I expected since she fusses about everything.

And of course I had to add one of my little man. :) This was his first serious boo boo. He fell at my mom's house onto the edge of a wood chair. I don't even think it was his hardest fall but it was just right because it split his little eyebrow open. At first we thought it would need stitches, but it wasn't as bad as it looked and is almost completely healed now. Something tells me this is the first of many many more to come.

Playground time!

Last weekend we got to take Henry to the playground for the first time. He was sooo excited. When he is really excited he starts jumping around and "talking" really fast and loud. That is exactly what he did. It was soooo cute. He just ran around as fast as his little legs could carry him and slid down the slides (big slides) and loved swinging. It was too cute.

I just love sleeping baby pics

And this face is priceless!

Look at her little hands, so funny

She's is saying "Oh Henry, leave me alone already!"

He just loved it!!

3 weeks old

I just can't believe she's almost a month. Wow. Her eyes are getting much more focused, she looks around a lot more now. I know this is alot of her over and over. But I think her facial expressions are so cute.

I think baby yawns are absolutely the CUTEST!

For all of you who ask about her little temperament. This is a great example. she is sooo sweet but way different than Henry. She HATES to be put down when she is awake. If it were up to her she would be held during all of her awake time. This is what she thinks about being put down all by herself most of the time. :)

Lots of Love

My sweet babies already love each other. Well... Lily is learning to love her big brother, but Henry. Henry just adores his little sister. I think it is the cutest thing. I know I say this over and over again but oh my goodness, how blessed am I?! Look at these beautiful babies God has entrusted me with.

She's in a dress............

We need to guard our hearts....

I couldn't have said it better myself. So I just copied and pasted this so that you all could read it. It was just posted by one of my dear friends.

"Time to say goodbye
2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. No, I'm not saying goodbye to blogging, nor am I dying of an incurable disease (not that I know about!). I'm saying goodbye to Oprah. Sound weird? Well, her recent political ties only hurt my opinion of her, but recently she's been focusing tons of her time on the new book "A New Earth". Not only is she pushing the book, but she's doing e-classes on it with the books author, Eckhart Tolle. I see this as one of the biggest dangers in our society today, especially with women who think of Oprah as someone who can do no wrong.I think it's about time for Christians to stop turning a deaf ear to what Oprah says. I think it's time to turn off the TV. I'm not saying ALL TV (although I'm sure that's a good idea). I'm mainly talking about the Oprah show itself, but even Oprah's Big Give. I have a feeling that Christian stay at home moms make up over 50% of her viewing audience. If we would stand up for what we believe in we would have a HUGE impact on her market. We ARE her market!Watch this and see what you think. It's pretty incredible!http://youtube.com/watch?v=JW4LLwkgmqA"

Sweet feet

I just love her sweet feet. There is nothing like baby feet and toes. Henry's were sooo cute also, but hers are just SO SMALL! I never could even put newborn socks on Henry's feet and they are too big on Lily. They grow soo fast I thought I should show you all how cute they are right now. I still kiss Henry's every chance I get, I just don't' get that chance as much anymore. How blessed I am to have two sets to love! Lily loves her daddy time. Arn't they just too cute!

She looks a little worried right here.

I put this picture on here because I just love it. It was from the hospital. Almost three whole weeks ago!!

Two weeks old!

Well two weeks has flown by. Lily is doing great. At her two week weight check on Friday she was 9lbs 3oz!! Talk about weight gain. She came home a week prior at 7lbs 13oz so that was a HUGE gain. She is just fattening right up:) And thanks to that and her eating well her jaundice is completely gone. An answer to prayer. As you can see below Henry just adores her. She has her eyes open a lot more now.

Lovely babies...

Henry has figured out how to crawl into the bathtub all by himself now. I was giving Lily a sponge bath on the counter and turned around to catch this. He is crazy. Lily getting her first sponge bath.

Look at those pretty lips!!
