Lily's first birhtday continued....

Here are just a few more of the sweet girl on her birthday:)

She is always sicking out her tongue!

My mom got there with some of her gifts in a bag. In her girl fashion, she just crawled right over and started to open the gift:) I have never seen a one year old so excited about actually opening a gift before.:)

Happy birthday sweet girl!

Happy happy birthday Lily Grace!!!!! I can't believe you are one. Our little princess! It really doesn't seem possible that 12 months have passed since we first laid eyes on you. You are such a little feminine light in our house, how I ever thought I could do without a little girl I don't know. You have such a beautiful sweet spirit little girl. You have brought so much joy into this home. You big brother just adores you. He wouldn't know what to do without you here. He gets so excited in the mornings to get you up. And he is so sad when you have to lay down for a nap without him. He might want to wrestle with you a little too much:) but he loves you so much! And your daddy, oh how you have stole his heart! He thinks you are just the most precious, beautiful little girl, and he is right. You are our most favorite Lily Grace Armour in the world:) God blessed us the day he created you. He knew what our home needed and sent you our way. Oh how very blessed we are to be chosen to be your family. I pray you always feel that you are so special to us and most of all, so very precious to God.

We had such a nice day today. It started with a wonderful morning at church. We just love church!! And then home for a nap and party with family. We had pulled pork, baked beans, cole slaw, mac and cheese, sweet tea, cake , cookies, all kinds of yummy stuff! Lily had her very own little cupcake, and boy did she love it. Last year Henry was scared to death of his cake and wanted nothing to do with it. Lily, on the other hand, took it very seriously. It only took, ummm, one second, for her to grab that thing and devour it. :) lol She means business when she eats!!

And then she did some opening of gifts. Here is one of two that I actually got her opening. After that she was off. But she did really like this little scooter and all the adorable clothes. She will really appreciate the clothes one day very soon!!

This is what she thought when Henry grabbed the back and took off with her.:)

I took a ridiculous amount of pictures today:) So I will break them up and post others soon. Here is the video of us singing to her. I thought it was cute how she looks around at everyone in the room, kinda shy. Pay no attention to the pregnant, tired, mama next to her. What can I say, it was a long day:)

Finally a name for this little one...

I am so glad sweet baby girl Armour has a name finally... her name is Callie Joy Armour. We are thrilled to be able to call her by her name and thrilled that I am almost in my last trimester. I am not excited about the lack of sleep:) But I am so excited to meet this little precious muffin!! 13 weeks and counting.
Oh and I didn't realize that people wouldn't know how to say her name. I guess I never thought about pronouncing it different. But is is pronounced Callie as in California. Not Kaylie, no long A!!!!

add another!

I'm so excited!! I just found out that one of my dearest friends that I've known for almost 10 years is expecting her first baby!!!! Yay! I've been waiting sooo long to hear that!! That makes five close friends that are pregnant right now. How exciting. And starting in May, we will have approx. a baby every two months. I can't wait.

Crawling and beyond

Our little lady might have taken almost 12 months to figure out the crawling thing, but now she seems to know no boundaries! She loves to stand up all the time, everywhere. I don't think the whole walking thing is going to take very long at all. She pulls up on everything, but I will catch her just standing in the middle of the floor like "OK what do I do now" lol. And the of course she falls, or gracefully plops back onto the floor. She is doing more graceful plops and less falling recently. Leave it to her to take so long to crawl and then walk in a fraction of the time. She might just make my three month time limit!!

This is real cute. She uses her tongue so much. Esp. when she is concentrating. My brother does that too!

I know this is blurry but she is just so cute in it!

Moving up.....

Henry is sleeping........ in his big bed:( And I'm surprisingly so sad. I guess I didn't expect him to like it or to do it so easily. The idea that he is out of his crib just makes me cry. Actually it did make me cry and I might again just thinking about it.

I went out today and purchased the side rail for his twin bed. He has always had a twin bed in his room. I put it together and on the bed just to see how it fit. Well, I really didn't expect him to want to sleep there. But sure enough, after we read our stories, we walked into his bedroom and I ask him if he wanted to sleep in the big bed. He said "OH!" which in Henry lingo means yes. And he walked over and threw all his friends (turtle, poo bear, beanie bird, and beanie goat) over the side rail. So I picked him up laid him up on his pillow and tucked him in. I truly expected him to get out. To cry. To SOMETHING!! But instead I peaked in about 15 min. later to find him passed out in his big bed like a big boy..... and then I cried.

It seriously kills me to watch my babies grow up so fast. I really have enjoyed every stage so far and it does makes me so sad that those stages don't last long at all. Speaking of stages my almost one year old little girl is talking and playing in her room, and has been oh, about an hour. She is trying to switch from one nap to two, but when she takes a morning nap that is it. So I guess morning naps are out for her now. :) Oh the changes!!!

Pizza night

These day's Henry and Lily spend a lot of time making messes together:) Here Henry is playing 50 card pick up, only I think Lily got the pick up part of the game:)

We have a pizza night once a week. Usually it's on Friday. Sometimes a movie too but almost always pizza. We decided to try our hand at making it ourselves. It was so fun, and Henry loved it. I think his favorite part of the entire thing was putting toppings on, because as you can see he would put some on and then take a bite himself. :) We made cupcakes a couple weekends ago but I didn't get any pictures of his first cooking experience. So I took the chance I had. Sorry about the obnoxious sequence pictures but it really shows how much fun he had. We had:)

And this one just tickles me to death. The other night, I was getting Henry ready for bed while Kyle was at class. I was cleaning up and was wondering where Henry was. I looked in the dogs room and found him in there with them. He really does love them!

We FINALLY have a crawler!!

It's true!! She finally crawls. With weeks until her first birthday, she decided she would pick up and be mobile. We are excited and so proud of her. It really makes her seem so much older now!! Yay Lily!! It's funny because when Henry started (at like 7-8 months) he was all over the place. He moved to move and to investigate and find things to get into. But Lily doesn't do that. She crawls when she wants something. But she is very content when she gets to that thing to play for a while. She doesn't justcrawl all over the place to do it. It's so interesting to see the difference in them! They are so different. It makes one wonder what this next little girl will be like.:)If you don't already know yet, we have picked a first name. I know, I thought we never would. But no middle names quite yet. I will post more soon.

Baby shower, no not mine!!

Now to continue on the wonderful weeks we have had. Last Saturday, I helped throw one of my dear dear friends, Krystal's baby shower. She is having a little girl, Annabell, and is due on May 15th. She is such a cute pregnant lady:) And the sweetest girl ever. Her and her husband moved about two hours away less than a year ago and we miss them so much. But even two hours doesn't take away what we all have. We just love them to death. They are the only couple that enjoy the same kind of stuff we do and we have so much fun when we are together!! We can't wait to meet little Annabell, and to let all the kids play together.

I threw the shower with our other dear friend Krstin, whom I have know since freshman year in college. And one of Krystals best friends since college, that is now our new friend too!! She lives about an hour and a half away so our long distance planing was interesting. But it turned out so perfect!! It could not have gone better, and I really enjoyed planning it and putting it together. Party planning is so much fun, especially when it's for a new baby!!

We did pink, brown, and green. Carnations are her favorite flower, so it was fitting for her to get them:)
Kristin did most of the food and did an amazing job!! Look at those yummy strawberries!!

Our beautiful table set up.

The suckers that I made. They said "It's a girl" and the little ones have "A"'s on them for Annabell.

My cupcake tower! After making these cupcakes the night before, I was seeing spots of green and pink:)

It's hard to tell how cute this is. But it was an adorable clothes line across the back window. It was really cute!! And Michelle had bought all these sweet things with Annabell's name on them.

The three party planners. Me, Kristin, and Michelle.

Yes, there we are. And there is my huge belly:) The funny thing is that Krystal is 6 weeks in front of me but you'd never know that by looking at the bellies:)lol I think this is the first pregnant picture I've posted on here, and goodness I'm already 24 weeks!! Yikes, I'm so behind. No wonder no one but the first babies get all the pictures!!

Many pictures..

I have sooo many pictures to update from the past couple weeks!! I will break up the posts, as to not overload them:) It has been a busy busy two weeks!! But in between running around we have had some wonderful family time too!! Lily and Henry are busy busy. Lily still isn't really crawling, but that's OK:) she is a master roller. And Henry is on the move all the time! Here are some many pictures of the babies....

Henry loves his sister and loves to do everything "me do it", by himself! So it doesn't surprise me that even when it comes to giving Lily her bottle, he thinks he needs to do it for her. He will crawl up and feed her while stroking her head. It really is the cutest thing. And this will go on until Lily gets tired of him holding her bottle then she will take it away and squirm to get away from him.

And Henry loves eating his cereal in the morning. We usually have oatmeal, but he thinks cereal is much more fun, you can see why...

Don't you just love her leopard jammies:)
And those teeth!

And I have to leave this post with this cute picture. Today when we got home I told Henry to take his shoes off and put them by the door with daddy's. Well this is what he did and then ran to me, gave me a big hug, and said, "I did it!"
