I had a wonderful mothers day! How blessed are Kyle and I that we have both our mom's to celebrate this day with!? I just hated that we Kyle didn't get a pic of Sue and him, all of our mama's are so special.

Our church put on a family fishing day at their retreat center in Indiana. We took the two big kids and they had to much fun. It was Lily's first fishing experience and I'm happy to say it went well. She was SUPER excited about her pink fishing pole! And she really wanted to catch a fish, only she didn't want to leave the worm in the water :) lol she would reel it in saying "I want to catch a big fish" over and over. :) they had a great time. Thankful for a church who sees the importance of family time and experience's and invests in them!

Oh my sweet sweet baby girl! Sidney was 7 months on the 21st. It's hard to believe she's only been part of this family for 7 months, seems like it's been forever. She has been changing so much lately. It's like around this time they just wake up and start to notice everything around them and interact with their world. It's so fun. She isn't sitting up by herself totally yet and we will both be glad when she can :) But she will roll all over the place when given a chance. (which isn't very often with three other littles running around)

One day when sin was as black as could be
Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin
Dwelt among men, my example is He
Word became flesh and the light shined among us
His glory revealed
Living, He loved me
Dying, He saved me
Buried, He carried my sins far away
Rising, He justified freely forever
One day He’s coming
Oh glorious day, oh glorious day
One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain
One day they nailed Him to die on a tree
Suffering anguish, despised and rejected

Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He
Hands that healed nations, stretched out on a tree
And took the nails for me
One day the grave could conceal Him no longer
One day the stone rolled away from the door
Then He arose, over death He had conquered
Now He’s ascended, my Lord evermore
Death could not hold Him, the grave could not keep Him
From rising again
One day the trumpet will sound for His coming
One day the skies with His glories will shine
Wonderful day, my Beloved One, bringing
My Savior, Jesus, is mine

Wow... all my days seem to be melting together right now. Kyle has been working late late late. I think that is going to be our new normal so I've been trying to reconfigure our evenings to make our nights easier and more peaceful. It's starting to work, the kids even eat better now that we are eating later :) I am bound and determined (we both are) to have dinner as a family. So now we are eating around 7 (sooo late for us) but it's working out.

I sure do just adore this little lady. I can't believe how big she is getting. She says the funniest things and is such a feeling girl. She will say "mama... mama" and I'll say "hmmm" and then "mama mama" "hmmmm" " MAMA TALK TO ME DON'T SAY HMMMM" hahaha she wants words, all the time!!
