First OB appt.....

Hello all! Oh my, I know I'm not a good blogger at all right now. I can't explain how tired I've been. So when I do have time to blog... you got it... I'm usually trying to sleep. But I do miss it when I don't!!

Today was baby #3's first doctor visit. I was a bundle of nerves to be quite honest. I'm not sure why, but you would have thought that I had never been to one before, never mind the fact that I have really been to over 25 of these appts!! I swear I was shaking in the waiting room. But it was so nice to see Dr. Nett, I really do have the best Dr. in all of Louisville, she is GREAT!

They did an ultrasound and just like I expected my due date is still July 1st. And that sweet little baby in there looks just perfect. Sweet little bean body and speedy little heartbeat. :) I always hold my breath until that little one pop's up on the screen, every time. And then cry when we find them and they look great. Praise the Lord for a healthy pregnancy at this time!!

Henry is so funny. Last night he went peepee on the potty because he wanted too. Crazy little guy. And believe you me, it wasn't because I wanted him too. I keep saying I'm willing to change diapers until he's 3 because I'm just not ready for potty training. Mind you he probably won't do it again for another year:) And I'm great with that, I just thought it was kinda funny. He thought it was the coolest thing ever. He has been going through some separation anxiety recently with me. Poor little guy wants me by his side all the time. It's sweet, yes. But I hope for his sake it ends soon because unfortunately it just can't happen all the time.

And miss Lily is just a sitting up expert these days. She is getting so strong! And her personality is quite adorable! What a joy she is!!! I bought her her first winter coat this year from Old Navy. It's so cute, brown and puffy with hot pink inside, so cute! But you know what, she hates it!! I mean the minute you put it on her she breaks down and screams.. the WHOLE time. So... needless to say I think it is going back to it's Old Navy home and I'm going to look for something a little less constricting. she does look like a little snow girl in it:)

Well I've gotta start dinner and well, I'm so tired these thing take longer these days!!! Love you all!!

Pictures, pictures, pictures

These are some of the best precious pictures that we had taken a few weeks ago. Matt Durst, a photographer in Louisville, did it at Long run Park and they turned out so good.:) We were really please. He got some good shots, and to know that Henry really wasn't even in the best mood!!

Words from the mouths of babes

Henry is just talking up a storm these days, I mean ALL the time:) He has so much to say!!

The funnies part is the things he says and we have no idea where he gets it from. Something he says all the time is "No Way" not just no. He says "no way" and it is hilarious. He just said it to Lily.... haha "No Wayyyy!"

Here are some of his other favorite words

"Rais" = Raisins
"Mama" as he pats me.
"Henry" as he points to himself.
"Baby" = Lily
"Binky"
"Blanky"
"Blocks"
"Tuck" = truck
"Play"
"Dada"
"Pop, pap, papa" any of his grandpa's he love saying their names
"Kicken" = chicken, he loves chicken
And the list could go on and on. He repeats about everything he hears and remembers that word from there on out. What a joy this little is to us!!!

My wonderful husband

Oh yes, my wonderful husband. It is 9:15pm and I just finished eating the yummiest grilled cheese with pickles and a glass of milk. :) All thanks to my hubby who takes such good care of me. Dinner never sounds good. It's right in the middle of my feeling yucky time and I just can never get a lot down. But for some reason, at 9:00pm, right after Kyle said he was going to go to bed, I needed a grilled cheese. And you know what, he went in and fixed me one stat. And they are a little messy and not what you want to do right before bed, but he did. I carry his child, he caters to my crazy cravings:) Good trade off I think!!

Also, I am so excited about his surprise for me today. He came home early but then had to go out and fix a leak as soon as he got home. I was kinda sad, but hey it's how we make a living. So when he called and said he was coming home he said he had a surprise for me. I was thinking food actually (I'm always thinking food these days) but he came in the door with a big brown paper bag. And do you know what it was filled with???? About 20 books!! And not just any books, but books by Karen Kingsbury, only my most favorite authors of all time:) :) For those of you that don't know I am a complete book freak. If I find a good book, watch out, you might not hear from me or see me for a day or so:) I am sooo excited. There are two complete series's and five FIVE!! novels. I am in reading heaven for a while now!!!
Turns out the owner of the house that he had to go fix a leak for was a sweet lady. She had two of the books out on her table and Kyle saw them and made a comment about how much I loved those books. She was so happy to hear that because she had a bag of all the ones she had ever read and wanted someone to give them too. :) I am in book heaven! Yay!!
Goodnight!!

love you

So no new pictures because my dumb computer thinks that having 2000 pics is too many and won't let me download anymore right now:( I guess I'm going to have to go get a zip drive or something to transfer my bad photo addiction onto.

But the sweetest thing just happened... Henry was standing in the other chair beside me watching me type a email and his grabbed me and hugged me sooo tight and said I love you. :*) The joy's of being a mama!!!

And really fast I just have to rant here really quick. I just came upon some new information from the AAP, saying that toddlers should be drinking low fat milk now! Are you kidding me. If there is something that really gets under my skin is putting kids on a diet. For goodness sake, make your kids go outside and play. Don't let them watch hours and hours of movies, TV, video games, and/or the computer. I mean for heavens sake, childhood obesity isn't from drinking whole milk or eating a cookie here or there. Really.... come on!!!

OK thanks, I just had to get that off my chest!
