Sweet blessings

This have been fun around here. Considering the wonderful weather, it was 80 here today!!! We have been outside A LOT :) And since my camera is up and running I've had more time to snap some cute pics of the kids.

These days there is only a few times you can actually get a picture of Henry, one when he is being hammy like here...This is one of her many "faces" the crooked mouth look . love it !

So happy in the morning. She looks sooo much like her daddy and brother as a baby here!!

Love that sweet little body and round head!

We have gone through a rough spat with ear infections lately. Here is what she thought of hers on this particular day.... pitiful I tell ya!

Here is the other time you can shoot Henry, when he is lounging... and he was lounging!

Isn't she lovely....

My sweet first born baby girl is two today! How in the world I have no idea. It really does seem like just yesterday we were sitting in the ultra sound room and hearing "it's a girl" for the first time. I remember being in awe because I really never thought I'd ever have a little girl. And then in that moment my dreams changed. And God sent this sweet big of feminine joy to our home. She was the first one to allow me to add "daughter" into my vocabulary. She still lets me dress her up, what a joy she is! I love this sweet little girl with all my heart. She is such a lovely lady inside and out!
On Saturday we went to the park and had a cookout with our family. Everyone was there and it was such a fun time to celebrate our Lily Grace! It turned out to be a beautiful day !! Thank you God!

Like I said beautiful day, but it was afternoon and the sun was BRIGHT, which doesn't make for wonderful pictures:) Mama and Callie Joy :)

Me and my girls :)

Number one....

So this pregnancy my food preferences have been way waked out. Meat of any kind either a) just does not sound good or b) makes me sick to my stomach. I cooked a turkey yesterday and I thought I was going to have to leave my house the smell was so awful to me. That said not much meat protein has been eaten. BUT there is on thing that has been craved and eaten a plenty.... oh yes this!!

I can not tell you how much I have craved chocolate this time. I have never craved chocolate and am not even a huge chocolate eater. I mean sure I can appreciate chocolate every now and then but I really don't just need to eat it.... until now. And this my friends, this is the mack daddy of chocolate right now

these babies.....

They are Cadberry Mini Eggs and oh my goodness. I have to control myself. I'm seriously thinking about stocking up since they only are out at Easter. If you haven't had them, do it! They are luscious chocolate covered in a crisp, thin, delicate little shell. Really that does them no justice. They are sooo good. Now if only chicken could smell like chocolate... hmmm..... yep that makes me sick.

My word...

Really..... three :) lol The past few days Henry has shown me what being a little older and disliking something can really look like. I have never seen tantrums like this. He is my little angel most the time but I have never seen anything like those before. A few times I've just stood there for a moment in awe because it's just that over the top. Bless his heart, it's like once he gets started he just can't stop. (don't worry I help him stop :) but it has opened up a whole new world to my parenting.
One the other hand, minus these times, can I tell you how much I am enjoying three! He really can converse and learns so fast. We have such a great time together and he teacher his sisters so much, good most the time :) He is really growing into such a sweet, amazing little man and is so excited about this new baby. It really is sooo sweet.

What a LOVELY day!

Hi all :) Today is just perfect, yesterday was too. It has been so refreshing to get to enjoy this wonderful weather. It is sunny and about 70 out right now.... I LOVE the sunshine and have missed it so much. We spent the day at the park with friends yesterday and then I took the kids to the zoo today. We had a blast. This year we have a zoo pass so I decided it was time to use it!:) I was actually nervous about taking all three by myself. Not sure why but I could see it being disastrous. But we went because I just could not pass up this beautiful day and I knew they would love it. Let me tell you we had such a wonderful time. They were sooo good and sooo excited. I just love seeing them so excited about stuff. Callie was and angel. I'm telling you I didn't hear a peep out of her the entire time. Henry was so excited to find new animals and Lily just pointed and oo'd and ahhh'd about everything. I still think their favorite is the pond with the geese and ducks, go figure :) And Henry's favorite is the aquarium with fish and reptiles, etc. He LOVES it, and boy does he get it honestly. :) We had a picnic lunch, another of Henry's new favorite things to do. I did keep them out a bit too late and had two meltdowns in the car/ at home. But that was my fault entirely :) They can only handle so much! What a blessing these babies are. I love days when I can honestly say I enjoyed them tremendously. I always love them but the sad truth is some days I'm so caught up with other things to do that I forget to truly enjoy the little people they are. May God remind me of that more. They are wonderful.....
My camera is dead , still :( but here are some pics from last moth of the little beauty, I could just eat her up!

Second trimester and baby Lukas!

Woo hoo!!! Welcome second trimester!!! So excited to be here. I can say the sickness is subsiding, at least a little. So I feel like at least I'm on my way! Baby is growing growing. My belly is already growing. I think my uterus has memory and gets big even before the baby is big enough to fill it. lol and now it's uncomfortable to sleep on my belly. Guess it's time for the body pillow to come on out. Still very tired so waiting for some energy to return..... waiting waiting....
Only 8 more weeks until we find out what we are having, can't wait!!!

But on to bigger news! Yesterday on of my best friends, whom I have been friends with for 10 years, had her first baby yesterday!!! I can't tell you how excited I am. It's always so special when you can share things in life with those you loves. And there isn't much bigger than marriage and parenthood. I'm so excited to get to share that with her!! He and her husband are going to be such wonderful parents! He is the cutest thing, so tiny. He came at a whopping 7 lbs 2 oz, that is tiny for me:) I just love him to pieces. I'm kicking myself for forgetting my camera . There will be many pics to come don't worry! :) Welcome to the world sweet baby Lukas~

Tiny Toes....

Can you believe I'm already eleven weeks along! That means next Friday I will be done with my first trimester. Woohoo, I am ready. Hopefully along with that will come relief from nausea, not being able to eat much, fatigue, etc. :) We will see.
See these tiny toes and sweet feet here? This is what baby D looks like already. "He" might be only an little over an inch long but already he looks just like the sweet baby God has made "him". :) Oh I just love it. Last Tuesday I had my Dr. apt and it was the first time that they look for the heartbeat with a Doppler. Well, all the other three have shown right up. But it took my Dr. quite a while to find this little one, "he" was just hiding :) But it truley was the longest few minutes of my life.... how scary! When we finally found it we cried. It was the sweetest sound ever. I am never more thankful than to hear the sweet sound of my babies healthy heartbeats!
Everyone has seems to be sick here lately. First it was the kids and then me and then Kyle. Kyle still doesn't feel awesome. I can not wait for spring and everyone to stay healthy for a while :)
