Christmas 2009

Oh how blessed we are! We had a wonderful Christmas filled with lots of family and fun. Henry was soooo excited this year and that made it so fun:) On Christmas morning he looked out all the windows b/c we ask him is Santa had come. He looked and said, nope. He thought he would still be there lol We had a wonderful Christmas morning at our home. We made a cinnamon roll "cake" and sang happy birth day to Jesus and ate. Then opened gifts. After that we went to Kyle's parents where we ate more :) opened more gifts and enjoyed the kids. Then back to our house we went and my family came over and we.... you guessed it ate MORE and opened gifts and enjoyed the family. By the end of the day we were exhausted. But it was such a nice day! The next day we stayed home and it was wonderful to just get to rest, wind down, put away all the toys and just get to be together and have some down time. It was much needed.
In other news.... Callie is taking a bottle!! Thanks the Lord:) Actually it took me this long to think about trying a new nipple... duh! I bought a fast flow nipple yesterday and she took three bottles! That opens up a whole new world for me. Not that I'm ready to wean her but it gives me options!! Now Kyle and I can have a date night longer than two hours... and I can go somewhere and not have to tote Callie with me wherever I go..... like I said a whole new world! lol
Now we are revving up for Henry's birthday Thursday and his family party Saturday..... I can't believe he is going to be 3 years old. Someone give me a pause button stat!

This is how Callie spends most of her time now. She won't stay on her back two minutes before she fips. She plays on her tummy now and even sleeps on it. :)

End of the day, we are tired....

So Merry Christmas, and although it is a busy busy time I hope everyone found joy in the true meaning of this Christmas time.... our Savoir was born to us...... our lives would never be the same!

Alabama Hearn Christmas....

Wow it's has been so busy. I have to remember to breath sometimes. Last Thursday we made the annual trek down to Alabama to have Christmas with my dad's side of the family. We had such a wonderful time. We only get to see that family twice a year (if we're lucky) so all the time is treasured. We miss them so much. Not to mind Kyle and I love it down there. We are so in our element!! Kyle shot a doe while we were there so we came back with some meat!! (too bad he can't shoot a thing here but in Alabama... u bet)
The car ride to and fro went fine. Henry did awesome as always, Lily did surprisingly well, and Callie did too. I was glad b/c 9+ hours in the car with three small children has the potential to be awful, but it wasn't at all:) I got ahold of my Aunt Christie's Nikon D80 and had lots of fun taking some pics of the kids. These are those plus ones that my aunt took as well. Aren't we blessed to have a photographer in the family:)

Callie and her cousin Erin :) Thanks for sharing your home with us!!

My cousin Andy and his wife had Brandt three months before Henry. They are so cute taking a nap together here :) they were worn out!

This is my dad's family. Pop and Nana plus their six kids. This is why the family is so big... everyone has spouses, kids, and some kids have kids. Oh yes, it's a lot of people!

Henry loved the gifts:)

The bow came out but the hair stayed put:)

Throwing rocks in the creek is so much more fun than opening gifts!

Pop and Callie, so sweet:)

I will post more soon. It's so late and I must get sleep. But I will be back soon with lots more photos!!

Love

Oh how much I love that my children have each other. Sure there is lot of arguing, fighting, teasing, crying, etc. But there is so much more playing, giggling, loving, and laughing around here as well. I will take it any day!

He really does just adore her:) Lily is saying "watch it".... lol

Thanksgiving a little late....

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year. We have so much to be thankful for and it was so nice to spend the day with family. Henry talked about Thanksgiving a lot afterwards. I think it's his favorite holiday so far:) We spent the first part of the day with my family and the later with Kyle's family. The only downfall is that we wish we could see both sides for longer but it was so nice!

My Lily ate three servings at dinner and some pie:) she was serious!

Happy Callie
