Winter Wonderland

Well we got hit, and it was big:) I guess this winter storm turned into all that they were predicting. We laughed before that because they were predicting all this snow and such that it meant we were only going to get a dusting.Wow, yeah we were wrong. So we have been inside enjoying some great family time today. We were outside for a little while, because of course all Henry has been talking about it the snow outside.:) He loves it!
Here are our ice sickles on our ice sickles:) yes, we still have not taken down our outside lights yet:)

Our back yard it pretty when there isn't silly dog tracks all through it! Look at our poor baby river Birch tree. It is the little one in the "fence", both trunks were bent all the way down to the ground.

Ice encased bush out back.

lol what can we say... again. Maybe we are rednecks.... but we have our Christmas tree out in the middle of our deck. One day I went crazy taking down all the Christmas stuff. And once I get started watch out! Well I wanted it all out, so I promptly moved our real tree right out the back door:) It is still very green and Kyle has yet to dispose of it! But it was just beautiful in the snow!!

Poor poor tree. This evergreen grows right next to our front door. It is a really big part of the outside of our house, I really hope it holds up:(

So excited to be outside in the snow. He had to wear his daddy's hat because his was frozen in the car. :) I think it's mighty cute!

This is our street, you can't tell but there are broken trees all over the place!

Henry helping scrape the driveway

He liked cleaning off the bushes too...

It's been fun and we are so excited to still have power!! I'm so sorry for those of you who don't and I am praying ya'll get it very soon!!!

What beautiful photos! I'm glad you guys still have power. We lost ours about 9:30 this morning. Thank goodness for generators, though it's starting to get chilly in the house. Hopefully it won't last too long.
